When the whole crew rolls into town and you need dinner fast, this layered ravioli bake saves the day. It’s cozy, cheesy, and tastes like you spent hours — even though you didn’t. Ingredients
1–2 packages fresh store-bought ravioli (cheese or spinach works great)
1 jar your favorite pasta sauce
1 lb Italian sausage, browned
1 small onion, chopped
2–3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp Italian seasoning or a pinch of herbs
Ricotta mixture:
1 cup ricotta
1 clove garlic, grated
¼ cup grated Parmesan
Pinch of salt & pepper
3-5 slices of fresh mozzarella, placed on top
Preheat your oven to 325°F.
Brown the Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the onions and cook until soft.
Toss in the garlic and spices; cook 1 more minute.
Remove from heat and stir the sausage mixture into your jar of pasta sauce.
In a small bowl, stir together the ricotta, grated garlic, Parmesan, salt, seasonings, and pepper.
This will be your creamy middle layer that makes everything taste restaurant-level good.
Grab a baking dish and layer it up:
A thin layer of sausage and sauce
A single layer of fresh ravioli
Dollops of the ricotta mixture
More sauce
Repeat until your dish is nearly full
Finish with a gorgeous layer of fresh mozzarella on top
Pop into the oven for 20 minutes at 325°F until the cheese is melted, bubbly, and irresistible.
Let it rest for 3–5 minutes (if your starving family will let you).
Scoop, serve, and watch it disappear.
